A native of South Carolina, Charlotte opened Willard and Palmer in 1996 after working for several of Washington's most celebrated designers. Her portfolio includes residences, museums, universities, and commercial offices throughout the Washington area and beyond.

Stem Studio Art was born out of Charlotte’s love for the natural world and personal collection of antique pressed flowers and herbs. Charlotte sourced the very best digital printers to replicate hand-sourced images from her own collection and from photographers. Charlotte found an array of frames in thoughtful colors and styles to complement the images, offering options for a range of tastes, from sleek to traditional. The result is an innovative presentation of natural beauty that seamlessly accents your space.
